(From Scout's point Of View)

The Day Moses Parted the black sea.
I heard the gavel bang.
Its was so unfair, three,
Versus one crippled man.

The truth against luck?
t'was too unfair.
Through all this muck,
I heard his heart tear.

They lived in the penthouse,
while he lived sub-basement.
He was just someone else,
another one of those Negro men.

I prayed hard to not hear,
that cutting sentence
"This man right here,
guilty,him I sentence."
